The Hive is one of Minecraft's biggest servers, and in turn also has some pretty big glitches. I will be going through them here. However, I really don't want to get in trouble with Hive, so I won't be explaining how to do it unless it isn't hugely harmful. This article's aim is to raise awareness of these glitches, so if someone abuses them, they will get banned, in the case that it is a player done glitch. Anyways, enjoy the article!
*Note: Some of these glitches are harmless, but others could be bannable if you abuse it, so please do not use these harmfully.*
This is the best photo I could find for the Ender Pearl Glitch, unfortunately. The worst you could do with this glitch is get yourself completely glitched into an island in Treasure Wars and make yourself completely unreachable. This glitch is super bannable, because not only you make the game really unfair, but you look like a hacker, so don't do it! It's not worth getting banned just so you can win a few rounds of Treasure Wars. This is game breaking, so no info about it.
The Pink Glitch is infamous for being Hive's biggest glitch. I have another that I think is more game breaking then even the Pink Glitch (You'll see.) especially now that the Pink Glitch has been fixed. This glitch turns all entities pink, at least in my experience, which makes Murder Mystery hilariously impossible and does virtually nothing in any other game except annoy you. This paired with the Steve Glitch, which is basically the same thing but all entities become Steves.
This is in my opinion Hive's biggest glitch. This can be used to glitch into the map, just not quite as unreachably as the Ender Pearl Glitch can. The reason its worse than the Ender Pearl Glitch is that it requires no ender pearls to perform and therefore works in games without ender pearls. The thing about this glitch though is that you can only glitch a little bit into blocks, so in a PvP game another player could glitch in too and then you die. The glitch mainly works in Hide and Seek, but only as a seeker, making it harmless, but I actually managed to glitch out of bounds, but again, it only works as seeker, so it's harmless. The other two games it can minorly work in is Treasure Wars and SG. In SG it only works in a specific location in a specific map, whereas I haven't tried it much in Treasure Wars but I know it works. Once again, no details on how to do the glitch, but instead some of the best moments I've used the glitch. I managed to glitch into the room where the seekers in Hide and Seek first spawn when they're killed as a block. Since I couldn't get out, I just chilled in there until I got bored and glitched myself even further into the map and got stuck :) I also glitched into a car, and into the front of a truck. This glitch primarily works in older games, so far it doesn't really work too well in Arcade games.
I think that's the right name :P This glitch allows any player with blocks to glitch past the build limit in basically a lot of games. This glitch could be harmful if used wrong, but mostly you'll just lose, so it's really only for fun. What you need for this glitch is a lot of clicking and a wall. If you place blocks underneath you on the wall fast enough, you can pillar up despite the fact that your blocks disappear. It's kinda hard to do though. The only game that this would be harmful in is Treasure Wars. In Hide and Seek you can only do it as a seeker, in Capture the Flag you would just lose, in Bridge same deal, in Ground Wars still the same, in Skywars you would take damage for being too high up, and you can't do it in any other game. In Treasure Wars, there is the possibility of glitching where another player couldn't hit you, but that's bannable, so don't do it! It's not worth getting banned.
Our final glitch. The Flower Glitch is completely harmless and affects no-one but yourself. The way you perform this glitch is have an empty slot in your hotbar, but don't have the item you're holding be that empty slot. Now shift and right-click any potted plant and it should appear in your hotbar in the empty slot. Nobody can see the flower except you, and it works for any potted plant, even trees. You can hold your flower, but you can't do anything with it or it will disappear. This bug is patched for the main Hive hub, but not in games...
And this concludes my page on glitches. I hope you enjoyed hearing about these glitches, and I hope you will report players abusing it. The point of this page is NOT to encourage you to do it, only to raise awareness so you can keep players from abusing these glitches.
That's it for this article =)
